North Parade are an indie band formed in Birmingham in 2017. Despite now basing themselves in London, they have regularly played headline gigs in Birmingham and Oxford and have had various radio plays on BBC Introducing Oxford and West Midlands. In many ways, all of these places are considered as home.Since releasing their debut single ‘Birmingham’ in 2019 which received support from Steve Lamacq on BBC Radio 6 and was described as “an instant indie classic” by Radio X’s John Kennedy, they’ve continued to release music regularly. Their second single, ‘Kind Of’, received BBC Radio 6 airtime from Tom Robinson, while their third song ‘Keepthingscasual’ arrived with their debut music video directed and shot by the legendary Roger Sargent (The Libertines, Suede, Fat White Family). You can listen to their latest release ‘Someone’ now!
They are now in the process of releasing songs from their debut EP ‘How To Be Good’ while continuing to gig around the country.
